Think C328 has it once in a while... This fish is not very common here, but still can be seen once in a while... Sorry, cannot suggest where to find one now. Maybe can PM Wackytpt to ask if he still has 1 to let go. He was giving several away some time ago...

think like other algae eating fish, they will eat algae when there is no other food available. like my mollies. they supposedly eat hair algae, but with prepared food available, they dun touch those algae at all.

i juz guessing. maybe fff will prefer the algae over prepared foods. those with fff, have you guys seen them tugging at the hair algae?

I'd refrained from answering as I had not had the time to sit down and watch my fish for the longest time liao! ... But my tank had been visible-algae-free in the first place, so I am really unsure and unable to comment... But so far had not seen it come out to snatch the fish food that I throw into the tank...

    Hi Valice,
Yes, viciously. Have a pair that literally tears out whatever hair algae there is but not so sure about BBA though. There is the stripe snail that choy mentioned awhile back that loves BBA though, they were like permanently stationed at my bolbitis.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

interesting... now got more choices to consider other than the usual oto, SAE and cherries...
