    hi,

my 15 gal. looks clear from a distance. but when inspected up close (~ 10cm from tank glass), there appears to be dust particles floating ard in the water.

i'm currently using an Eheim 2213 with surface extractor on this planted communtiy tank. there are ard 17 assorted tetras, loaches, rasboras and 2 cichlids.

i feed sparingly ~2 frozen Hikari cubes/day. my filter media consists of ceramic rings, filter wool and coarse filter pads.

i use Geo-Liquid but there seems to be little effect on these "dusty" particles.

    geoliquid? *rolls eyes*

add more filter wool to the top compartment of the filter
this will clear up the small particles in the water
if you're impatient you can also use interpet's filter aid, but some fish don't take it well
