Who is eating the snail? The newt or the cory? Can have a pic of the newt to show?

Your newt don't attempt to climb out of the tank?

Suggest you remove the stuff that will be reflected off the tank when you take the pic. Now can't see the tank properly.

    You named it? Aww...

First time I see a Japanese FB... Looks like a tougher and rougher paddletailed...

    Cute...

It eats snails ah?... My paddletails and CFB dun touch snails... The paddletails like fish, worms, brineshrimps and even take Hikari Crab Crusine sometimes... One took in a mealworm once... The CFBs only take worms and brineshrimp... So, you will have no problems with snails if their population explodes...

yeah its double the size of a chinese newt

it was trying to chew on that snail but i stopped him

thinking of alternative food for it other than bloodowrms

what other worms do you feed?

    hikari crab crusine?

will try to feed it some sinking pellets soon. its going to go without food for the next 3 days....holiday!

Snails would be good... Brine shrimp also. Oh, baby fish would also be a good alternative... I'd tried mealworms with my paddletails... They dun quite like it. Only 1 of them tried eating 1... No more after that...

Yes, they sometimes will snatch the Hikari Crab Cruisine pellets that I threw into the tank for the guppies to slowly munch on...

3 days without food is ok for them...
