After 3 years of foruming, in my humble opinion AQ is still the best forum in the region overall. Thanks to the passion of the members and those at the top[you know who you are!] and have seen many newbies rise up to the ranks of advanced aquarists in a very short time.

The best are the gatherings and meeting in person.
I very much enjoyed meeting the 'scary' people at AQ and find them very friendly, articulate, respectful, knowledgeable and above all passionate.

I was googling for moss. Plenty of links came up (of course), and some of them pointed to AQ forum. That's how I came to AQ.

I was with arofanatics for sometime... but stop due to the fact that I am not into Arowana.

Found AQ through a friend and I have been staying here since... very informative and I have learnt quite a lot during my stay here. This is where I grow in this interest/hobby.

I found out about it after i fail to create a planted tank back in 2004.

What i did was using a 18 watt FL and try to grow glosso, guess you guys know what grew instead of my glosso.

after this failure i search the websites for information and end up here and got stuck here. too many valuable information.....

iwishweallcouldwin introduced me here... AQ is a very good discussion forum for us to find out more about what we don't know about our fish keeping hobby. It is also a place for us to exchange different ideas with regards to our hobby.
