    Hopefully i got the thread in the rite place... else sure kanna scolded...

    I intend to start a 1ft cube low maintainance tank for rams... probably 2 female and 1 male... for a start... and maybe a couple of cory cats...

    so, for algae eaters, shrimps will be def out of the picture since got rams, wat can i put in? other than the usual oto...

    Since when do we scold folks here? We merely remind them to post in the correct section if they "try" to circumvent the buy/sell restriction.

    Anyway, back to your query....have you considered baby bristlenose plecos? They are really slow growers and will help with the algae maintanence. Alternative baby twig catfishes, but they grow slightly faster.

    The last time when we were there they were on offer for S$15 each I think. Previously we use to pay between $40 to $50 per piece. But they were slightly larger.

    were they so expensive?? don't think I paid that much for 5 of them
