Hi hi... I just got 10 beautiful Congos from Eco recently and within 2 days, left 7... Think I counted 6 this morning...

Just wanna ask, are they that fragile?

I had kept them before I learnt the proper way to keep planted tanks and they perished within a couple of weeks... I am afraid of the same thing happening again...

What would be their ideal water condition?

    Thanks!

    Hi Thomas,
I think congos are domesticated already. So cannot be so fragile one something is wrong somewhere bro. Most of mine died of old age...
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

They better dun die on me anymore!

Could it be I intro them too soon to the tank as I had only recently pulled out quite a lot of plants and did some re-scaping?

If so, then maybe I will try to find somemore later...

Any visible external signs when they died?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Ic ic... Benny, no signs what so ever... Just find less as the days go by... Last time also like... That was why I was hesistant to try Congos earlier...

Justin, you meant 3 or 30?

Come to think of it, one of my cardinals and one of my black skirts are like swimming around in small circles... I had seen my cardinals do that... One at a day, once serveral days... Maybe they die after that... Cos their population had been dropping... My black skirts are old, so I tot it might be old age... Has it got something to do with the Congo deaths?

But my ember tetras are ok leh...
