    My 3ft tank

    This is my main tank which has almost stabilised. Now waiting for the recently planted Java fern on the right to mature.



    Plants :
    - Left : Various species of Anubias
    - Right : driftwood with moss and Java fern
    - Back : Amazon Sword Plants
    - Front : Echinodorus sp. (not quadricostatus or latifolius) and Val var natans
    - Others : Blyxa aubertii, Green Lotus
    - All the Echinodorus are planted in pots to facilitated rescape or uprooting. That pot on the front-left should not have been there

    Fish
    - Rainbow fish : Melanotaenia bosemani, M. trifasciata, M. praecox, Pseudomugil furcatus, P. gertrudae.
    - Harlequin rasbora, Black tetra
    - Yamato shrimp

    Tank spec :
    - Size : 3x1.5x1.5' with fully covered hood.
    - Temp : 27-28C, 2 fans suck air in and 2 fans blow air out
    - Light : 3x36W+1x18W light.
    - CO2 : Internal reactor
    - Filter : Eheim 2026 (CO2+Bio) + 2236 (mechanical)
    - Fertiliser : LushGro Aqua, Micro, KNO3, KH2PO4, K2SO4
    - Water change : 30% every two weeks

    Thanks. Glad you like it.
    Some people think it is too crowded but I like the wild, densely planted tank.

    Nice tank! Although i would have to agree its a little too dense

    Very nice tank!

    However the dense setup has made the left bottom of the tank a bit dark. Shift your light nearer to the front of the tank?

    I like the dense setup!

    Has a certain jungle appeal to it. The shaded area on th left adds to the jungle appeal although I'm not sure whether its gd for the plants there.

    just a newbie's humble opinion.

    The left areas are all Anubias. I intentionally kept that area dark by disconneting a PL tube at the left back and having a green lotus providing the shade.

    One of the most beautiful planted tank i have seen so far / nice layout of plant/ very dence n thats the beautiful part of it / nice mix of colours of plants
