    these are all male flies, as they are all chionging the "skirt".
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    got its ID from another site and its suppose to be a Veiled Stinkhorn or Netted Stinkhorn (Dictyophora duplicata)

    i think they look like Drosophila..or at least Drosophilidae... but not sure leh.. anyway a lot of flies are attracted to this.. not only this family or genus
