I love the feel of it! Travel Photography was one of my favorite...until I got lazy to shoot outside the house.
Cheers,
p.s. You started to collect photos from business trips ah? Very soon you will run out of gallery space!
Here I am somewhere on the Western Ghats of India, in a small village along the Mysore Road. I photographed a group of total strangers and they smile very happily for the camera I feel like a NatGeo photographer
the rest of the series is here… http://www.hexazona.com/hwchoy/SimpleViewer/index.php (mostly just company outing snapshots and what not, but hey the gallery software is sexy and - click the Bangalore album). all taken with Canon 20D and EF-S 17-85mm IS USM, and available light (i.e. I was too lazy to bring my monster flash).
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

On a separate note, you should use the on camera flash as a fill flash in this picture. Get a bit of catchlight in their eyes. More impactful.

Incidentally if you check the image EXIF, you will see that it was created by PSCS2. Those of you who get no EXIF from PSCS need to look at your option settings. Do you use save-to-web by any chance?

As a matter of fact, I do. You taught me that last time so that I can control the size of the files to less than 100K.Originally Posted by hwchoy

I never say save-to-web. I said "save as…" then in the pop-up quality value, select something between 8-10 and the lower window shows you the esimated size of the resultant image.

So friendly... perhaps they see you as a tourist?
Very good picture.

I doubt they see many foreigners. The place is couple of hundred km out of Bangalore and not on the tourist route to Mysore Palace. I think these rural folks are just nice and friendly.
actually the bus journey was morning interesting than the resort itself
