Water Circulation

I have a 2 x 2 x 2 feet tank. Adds up to 50 US Gal.
Wondering if my cannister filter is too small for circulation? Using a Ehiem 2213.

My hairgrass is giving problem on BBA, suspect it is too low in water circulation.

Consider the CO2 mist method and see where the mist goes. As long as the mist covers almost the entire plant area, you are fine. In that case, add more CO2 as long as the critters are fine. Make sure there is some moderate surface movement along with it and do it slowly. Also, be around when you do it.
