Kuching new airport

The construction for redevelopment of Kuching International Airport is almost completed. The airport terminal expected to be completed by April 2006. The runway extension will be completed in later date. The existing runway is 2,454m. The new runway will extend another 1,326m. Soon, this airport will be the second largest airport in Malaysia which capable of handling the full operation of bigger aircraft such as Boeing 747.

It's almost completed. Everyone is coming back to Kuching to celebrate CNY mah.....oh, this airport is redeveloped from the old....so, people are using this airport while construction is carrying on.
