Haha... Ya, my colleagues will say that too. They say my noodles goes WITH the chilli, just like my guava goes WITH the sng muay powder... Not the usual way round... Haha...
Have you seen this guy eats chilli?! I think chilli is a staple more than a condiment... *Faint*

Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
Yeah, some of us just can't do without chilli for long.
I recall how we 'suffered' when we're in NZ and also in HK. In NZ, a Chinese restaurant owned by a Malaysian family came to our aid. And in HK, we're given pepper to go with the Kentucky chicken.
P-L-E-C-O-R-Y=M-A-N-I-A!!! YEAH!
FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.
Seems like chilli is not commonly available in europe or the americas... So they used peppers (as in those green, yellow peppers used for tabasco) for spicing things up... And the south americans are darn good at eating "chillis"...
But their chilli not as powderful as our chilli right especially the chilli padi? I remembered the US President taking a bite of it and was overcome by it's 'hotness' while visiting SG.

Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Haha, I've had australian friend cry after eating my grandmother's chilli crab And i literally mean grown men crying while scrubbing their tongues in a sink
I have a tendency to bring my Western friends (except UK) to eat chilli and pepper crabs! It's fun!!
Cheers,
p.s. UK folks's unofficial national cuisine is practically curry, so no shock value at all.
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Benny: haha, seriously? all this time I thought it was fish n chips...

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Contrary to what you guys said, most of my UK friends survived the chilli and black pepper crabs with no problems at all. The other European friends find it a serious challenge.
Cheers,

remember my bangalore pix? all those guys there were so worried I couldn't take the "hot" indian food. but none of their food were anywhere near the SG indian standard, not to even compare with the thai or indon stuff.
and they couldn't believe me when I insist I needed more spicy stuff. they think I'm trying to be gungho

Truth is, indian curry isn't really spicy. It's not really supposed to be. Malay food on the other hand is meant to kill satan himself. And peranakan curry? woo... you're asking for trouble there
