this pair was given to me in Bangalore, about 2-inch long. Appears to be male (with colour pec fins) and female (clear fins).

Hmmm... the picture in your second post seem much nicer in terms of coloration.
Is the first fish in the first post deformed at the head? I don't recall seeing this fish the the shops.

fish in the second pix is a female. I think the first pix just happen it was stretching its mouth.
