Seen recently in the shops. Any idea what this species might be?

Looks like the red neon goby that came along with the batches of blue neon goby. See them in a couple of places, including chinatown. BTW that is a very beautiful specimen.

Aren't they green in colour? So... different colour variants, same fish?

Yup, they're known as red neon goby over here too. Not quite sure what the scientific for is though.

Uncle says they are the same fish as the ones I bought and posted here.

Mine's still very washed and thus I wanna transfer them to my Endler tank but am afraid they might snack on Endler fry... Any advise?
