I'm confused over rotundifolia and indica also, seems like they could be one and the same plant?
Hi All,
Need some help again on this plant i.d. Is it Rotala rotundifolia or could it be Rotala indica?
Pardon me for the lousy pix.
Thanks in advance

again i say...its rotundifolia... red stem or not..
just incase you're confused with rotundifolia green.
i once saw in lfs a red version and a green version. maybe it's just an sp.. spp.
in amano's magazine 'sui kei' there's a section where a plant[similar to photo but all green] is referenced as rotala rotundifolia 'green'.
i suppose there's a red version?

I thought it is suppose to be red. The green one is the variant, thus the name Rotala rotundifolia 'green'...

If you refer to the oriental plant book, it is stated that indica and rotundifolia is distinctively different. Though I'm still confused by them. I believe the book mentioned that the difference lies in the flower.
