Blood Parrots?

There seems to be a lot of people in SGP who keep blood parrots. Just wondering, how much are they roughly? Over here, they are around £15. i often see pics of them being kept with arowana...
Also, do you think there is a few too many in here?

Here in the US they cost anywhere from $15(1incher) to $70(5incher)...

I, yes, Have personally kept them and still do (well, jelly bean parrots).

Yeah it is crowded! I hope they are using a canister filter!

In the Jurong West of Singapore, there is a LFS that is selling them at S$6 each. I think they are about 4-5" big.

i am very happy to see you here.Tell your friends about AQ too. Hopefully this can be a place for everyone, not just sg people.

Blood parrots are actually pleasant fish, THey are relatively peaceful for cichlids of that size.

I am not against blood parrots because it remains a matter of personal choice and it stops just there. Other ppl are still free to enjoy other fish.

anyway i had seen blood parrots much more well kept by respectable owners than many other kind of "respectable" fish.
