ID: Pellia

Hi

Got this moss from Ranma... sorry did not quite catch the name when u gave it to me... Please id...

also, just curious if i tied it properly.. or does it grow in the same way as Ricca... coz i see it similar to ricca... will it stick to the wood when it will grow...should i use a nets to tie it to woods in the net...

Looks like mini pelia. Pretty but won't survive if your tank temp's too high.

My tank temp is being set at 24 now... so it varies from 24-26...is that okay for the mini pelia? if not, let me know the ideal temp..

Got mine from Joe..

was real expensive when i got it and only 20cent size.. now its growing like mad in my tank.. gave away alot liao loh...no more left to give..haha.. but my entire driftwood is full of it.. grows quite fast actually.. took abt a mth to fill up me 2nd piece of DW. My SAE doesn't touch this..they like the mosses better..

I think what we name 'Mini Pellia' actually is a specie from the Riccardia genus.
