Sorry, Nick, Lampeyes are not tetras. They are some form of killies. Think they are Aplocheilichthys normani...
Can read this for more info: http://fishbase.sinica.edu.tw/summar...ry.php?id=2462

Another correction, this fella is now known as Poropanchax normani. 3 to 4 species are commonly encountered in local stores, they being Poropanchax normani, P. myersi, P. luxophthalmus luxophthalmus and P. luxopthalmus hannerzi. The last mentioned species is rather uncommonly encountered.
All are small species, not very quarrelsome and will form loose schools near the surface. Note however that their fry are extremely small-mouthed at birth and will require microscopic foods for the first 2 to 3 weeks of their life.
Easy to care for, very cute fishes and not very aggressive to smaller or larger fishes.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
