i'm posting a couple of pics of this fish, i got them yesterday at a friends fish shop, he said this was a first import of this fish in the UK, i have seen similar fish but they've been contaminants, i know a little about this genus of fish but there's not much interest for this fish with it being pretty bland-looking,i have an educated guess that it might be O. cotio ? but thats only a guess so if you have some info i'd appreciate it thanks.
btw have a close look at the pattern on the fish it's similar to a piece of graph paper

Nice fish.. haven't seen this around here, not myself at least..
not only is the scale pattern unique... i also think the head pattern is different..
