1.For the brownish pelia..you can actually re-tie them, they will still grow out green given good conditions.
2. Direct lighting does not really affect the pelia.
Hi guys, some of my mini pelia turned brownish/yellowish....probably due to high temp.
1)Is it possible to salvage these mini pelia after introducing a fan to reduce the tank's temp ?
2)Does direct lighting on mini pelia(say 13W, 1 foot height) cause it to be extremely nutrients demanding ??
Thanks,
zhan

Hi ppl, care to share your tips and water parameters on keeping mini pelia fresh and green ?
i dont see any special requirements for this plant..as long as you're keeping up on dosage, co2 and lights on a general basis.. it grows without problems.
I don't even dose much. A little traces every week or every other week, CO2, just enough lights, leave them alone, and they will grow.
Oh... btw, my tank temperature (on the digital thermometer reading) states a range of 25 - 26.5 degrees.
Erm, I have dose Aqumedi floravit & seachem excel weekly,Originally Posted by hjbyeo

Yet my M.pelia are kinda turning brownish patch by patch...Are they still adjusting themself to the environment?
