Thinking of getting few new tanks too. How much you paid and what's the dimension? Btw, my 5ft center piece support glass on top was loose. Is my 5ft breaking up? Any idea?

    Very nice setup LSZ. Is that a 4 x 2 x 2?

Can I know what filtration u're using for your cichlid setup?

    Yucks! the root got fungus!
tore down the setup today and used my old wood and re-did it.

i am using 2x2217 connected in series for my 4x2x2. and my water change is 30-40% every 3days.
for the 2217s, the first canister is packed with the original blue foam and the other is filled up with just ehfisubstrate. I only disconnect the first one for washing.

    dennisks,

The center support base is quite important. I suggest you drain of as much water as possible silicon the brace back and return the siphoned water into the tank. I know someone who did not fix back the brace back and it resulted to the tank bursting at 3am.
    Cheers!!
