I tried looking for Jobe Sticks in Ikea's plant section a few weeks ago. Could not find it.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.

jobes stick definitely works. ikea don't sell them any more.
using horti tabs now. readily available in NTUC.
root monster works too, but overpriced imo.

I've used jobe sticks on HG, tenellus & some other stem plants. Worked well, but never tried on the larger rosette plants tho'. Used monster roots for those, but i agree...quite expensive at $10 for 10pcs....like putting in $1 coins into your substrate...

If u're staying in the east, they have jobe sticks at Eastpoint's Pet Safari florist.

The results from using horti plant sticks is fantastic.

the sticks give an instant kick to my oriental, rubin and red flame. Initially my plant leaves were small and short, after inserting the sticks into the gravel, the plants started to grow huge leaves .

Jobes sticks can be found in cold storage.

i dun know whether those fertiliser sticks that i bought from Far East Florist are jobe sticks.. but when i insert them under my red tiger lily, green lily and Aponogeton crispus, i get to see the results within the week and the end result is that i see a deeper red lily leaves.. []
