I have ripped out all my glosso with the intention to replace with hairgrass, and interspersed with Blyxa japonica and Stargrass (trying to make a corner bush). So right now I have a bare substrate. Should I “prepare” the substrate by adding root monsters and such boosters? I am using 2-inches of JBL base fert under 1-inch of Lonestar.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Think the root monsters would be a bit too strong for HG...u might wanna try jobe sticks instd, but i don't think u'd need to 'prepare' the substrate in advance. I just plunged the sticks after i put in the HG...
