Cut the melting leaves, and keep observing...the plant should do fine..
There is a discussion in the forum that touch on the issue of No3 and the greeness of plants...
I have added my tiger lilies in my new tank filled with ADA amazonia soil. It was growing well at first with noticable gains, but I begin to realise that I have some leave melting away, generally the plant is still doing well, but I am worried it might not be for long as it some of the leaves are beginning to change colour to green.
My tank parameters are:
2 X 1 X 1.5 feet tank
hanging filter
55w PL light
ADA amazonia soil
Weekly dose of Seachem fert (1 cap)
alt days of Seachem liquid CO2 (1 cap)
1 fan
temp 27-28 degrees
Any suggestions? I suspect the plants do not have enough iron. BTW I did not check my water parameters, so I do not know what is the ph level is, I guess it will be low given the soil type.
