    So I wait and wait,
    For that thing call fate

Flint, that's in Singlish, a local mangled form of English that uses (mainly) chinese grammar, and words form various local chinese dialects, mandarin, malay, tamil and other local languages... I'll try translating, but I won't fix the grammar though.

    I already very not picky,
    why no women want,
They say I am like shit,
    but my heart not bad.
Saturday go Mount Faber (a local lover's haunt)
    See couple couple
Cars stick newspaper (on their windows... what happens behind the windows... well, up to your imagination)
    See already, drool saliva
    They say can means can
    cannot means cannot
    Economy (sic) although bad
    So I wait and wait,
    For that thing call fate
Whole life no one (to) date
    Don't know when can mate
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Anyone got the lyrics to the Hokkien song lamenting army life? I believe it was by Jack Neo?

I can't figure out the first 4 lines of the last verse... can give the english translation? Then I'll figure what it is in Hokkien.

for the benefit of our foreign friends, "call chicken" means to hire a "professional lady"

Ok, now the last verse makes sense.

Choy, nope, only heard about that song after I left the army.
