Hey jason i have loisellei too
they are cute fish

Nanopsis loisellei
Although in the same family as the managuense, the loisellei is more of an insectivore. Their habitat is the murky and still waters of Oxbow.
My loisellei is my beloved pet fish. His name is "Armadillo".
I first saw him in a shop. Alone in a 4-foot tank, in crystal clean water and bright blazing lights. I was told that he was not feeding. He looked out of form, hung at the surface and showed signs of stress and eye fungus.
The owner was also not stupid, he knew he has a rare find. So I tried to convince him to sell him to me. No. So I returned to the same shop on five occasions. Finally, I got it.
First thing I did was to put him in a small tank with a small air pump in a dim room, with three sides opaqued by dark paper and the one side, faced me when I watched TV and he watched me. Soon we got used to each other, and the dimly lit place is certainly his kind of environment.
Now he is metallic gold in colour. I am sure he will show like a pair of King and Queen with a silver Nanopsis tetracantus. LOOK...
But he is not for sale..
Champsochromis caeruleus
The rocket. The trout cichlid. A rose by any other name.
Indeed, it is one of the most magnificent of all aquarium fishes, the adult male in full colour not only has a deep blue unlike any other Malawi, it also has long flowing finage that adds to the grace as it swims through the tank. This fish is found singly or in pairs in Malawi.
A cruise predator, it will actively hunt and chase other fishes. About 15 to 16 inches for males and it can reach that length in the aquarium too. Same requirements as other Malawians. I have no problem keeping them, and to those fishes that it cannot swallow, it is alright.
Feeding is easy, pellets and occasional life food will do.
I have one pair, as well as a large male for sale to those who are interested in keeping such magnificent fishes -
$160 for one or $280 for a pair.
Not on display, so please call to enquire if interested. Refer to my web-site for my phone no. please.

He must be referring to the fishes with the Rocket Cichlid. They are young Boulengerochromis microlepis, the largest cichlids in Lake Tanganyika. The adult can grow to 40" in length.
