can java moss be sandwiched between 2 sheets of plastic mesh?
to make it look like a backdrop.
will the lack of light( sandwiched parts) cause it to die and rot?
    does it grow roots?

Yah... you can do the sandwiching thing. Don't really require lots of light, juz cooler temperatures...
    Cheers!!

    you CAN sandwich it
but ime the sandwiched parts will tend to accumulate crud and algae, even though the other parts grow very well

i am thinking of making use of plastic mesh for terracing purpose.
the moss is too hide the mesh from view.
