    Hello
I currently have a pair of borelli in a 2ft tank. lots of driftwood and plants. I have been told that some target fish for the pair will keep the bond stronger, and also stop aggression between the pair (they will chase the other fish, instead of each other). i am used to this system with larger cichlids, but didnt know it was used for apisto.
What fish would you reccomend, apart from danios? or are danios the only option?
    Thanks,
    Mez

The July issue of TFH has an article which suggests keeping small livebearers (Gambusia, platies) with apistos.

    Hahaha!!!
Those gambusia..aka mosquito fish. Same price as Zebra Pleco here. £40 each. Very expensive.
Platies..hm..might try it. Will wait till more options come flooding in..
    Thanks,
