I have done this with just normal grass seed and it looked ok, quite a talking point
I'm thinking of growing a patch of wheatgrass to add aesthetic value to my office shelf.
The lighting in my room is above average in intensity, 7500K, 10-12 hours daily.
I'm asking for contributions to share your experience.
Also, where, in Singapore, besides making an order over the web can I buy the wheat seeds?
Thanks
Warm regards,
Lawrence Lee

If you have a large space, maybe plant something similar to the golf 'green' with a hole and place a golf ball near the hole.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Did you grow it on soil or sponge? How much lighting did you use?Originally Posted by Rupert

haaa...green fingers.... you can grow plants on anything that your fingers come in contact with
hahahhaaa no green fingers la ... that picture shows what you can do to your colleagues's desk when he/she is away for long vacations while you cover his duties hahahhahahaa

Joe, I still like the yellow stick-its trick... We did something similar when a colleague was on vacation! Haha...
Anyway, Lawrence, you can try growing the 'heads' of wheat grass first and see if you can grow them well... Then if you do well, as where to buy the seeds and buy the proper growing media...
Sounds interesting... growing grass in office... Especially BFG's idea...

OT... I really regretted that I didn't take pictures of our 'achievement'... We photocopied hundreds of her son's photo, cut to size and paste it ALL OVER her cubicle and wait for her to return. We all had a good laugh to see her removing the photos! Haha...
