Just want to share with fellow forumers that IKEA sale has this glass vase (22cm in height) selling for $1.90 only. Usual price is $8.90. I have bought 2 of them. Can be used as a center piece or keep some moss (seen some guy did this). Grab before the deal ends.

I use these IKEA cuboid containers to grow emersed crypts. Place 3-4 cm layer of mixed gravel (normal pebbles + a little fert substrate), throw in some moss and crypts, add enough water to reach the top of the substrate, cover the top with clingwrap (to keep it watertight) and wait 2 months before re-opening.

Wait 2 months? Isn't it an oven that way?
I'm growing some (actually, a lot) Crypts emmersed, but I didn't keep it airtight.

Keep it somewhere a little shady.. just 2-3 hours of sun a day will do.
