Talking about Kimi, have you guys notice the way he talks? He talks in a single tone without stopping in 1 breathe! There's no excitement in his tone, like a robot talking and talking with no stop until he need to breathe and then continue to talk until the topic of his speech is achieve.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

I think that's the finnish accent. Mika was like that too.

IMHO, too many silly mistakes last year has diminished Montoya's stock.

Watch out for Nico Rosberg, all these achieved on his debut race as a rookie. Definitely one for the future.

Looks like Renault is the car to beat this season.

V8 engines seem rather fragile, there were at least 3 engine failures in the race. So the 2-race engine rule could be problematic.

The qualifying format is utterly confusing in determining the staring grid.

I thought Schumi going to win because he changed engine. But no!! Renault had very good tactic. Average drivers and stable car. Once they are among the top three, it is tough to nudge them off..

Yeah. the qualifying format sure is confusing. All cars on the same track at the same time !!!! during the first segment.. *blurz*

Hahaha, Schumi was nearly relegated to the last 6 position in the qualifying! I am now watching the repeat of the race on Star Sport channel.

My oh my, the Melbourne race was an exciting event to watch! This is what F1 should be, lots of drama happening from the qualifying laps to the warm up lap to the actual race itself! Lots of cars were damaged, you can even see Schumi riding a prancing horse literally at lap 24!

Was there something wrong with the tracks?
I was very surprised to see nearly half the cars either spinning out of control at the bends or brakes locking up and whacking straight into the walls with debris flying all over the place...

Good thing now that the safety and integrity of the cars are improved... Else if it is Sanna's time, think sure got black car...

Saw the highlight and it was indeed more "exciting" than usual! Actually, most folks just like to watch the cars crash out. Terrible isn't it!?

I used to watch MotorGP too and was following the West Honda Pons team for a while. I believe it's very big in Malaysia too as they race there.

The track are kinda worn and provide less grip for the tyre. It is a part of the public road if I'm not wrong. Montoya has a spin while doing a warm up lap there! The corner where Schumi crash has a nasty bump whereby any car that clip that bump at high speed may be thrown in the air and the tyre will lose traction at that stage. I think that bump claim 2 cars.

The worst luck happened to Button who just at the last corner coming into the finishing line, his engine suffered a complete breakdown and stopped a few metre away from the finishing line. I wonder how he feel, so near yet so far away...

Aiyo... He must be cursing under his helmut... Quite sad that the momentum can't bring him across the line...

Once the engine's gone, the hydraulic power to change the gear on the car will be gone too and he may be stuck at the 3rd or 4th gear. When that happen, the momentum will be slowed down by the car engine, which may be jammed by broken valve or piston arm or anything else in the engine. Let's see how the next race will go. This is by far the most exciting race I've seen, even the qualifying period have some excitement happening!
