    Hi Philip,

    Welcome to Aquatic Quotient!

These items are pretty common and can be purchased from most of the well stocked LFS. I know C328 at Clementi Ave 2 has all of the items you are looking for. In addition, shops like Petmart at Serangoon North Ave 2, Soon Heng at Henderson Rd and Hougang, Sam Yick at Marine Parade, etc will have the items you are looking for.

Are you a foreigner residing in Singapore? If you need help locating the shops, just check back here and someone will help you out.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    Hi HongSeow,
Welcome to AQ, those stuff you are looking for are pretty hardcore, Mariner or planter? Anyway, you could get most of them at shops like C328 or NA.

Well Philip, good that you found the site. There's plenty of interesting information that you can call up just by using the search button on the top. For any other query, just ask away!

Keep us updated on your new set up!

    Cheers,

p.s. For planted tanks, we normally don't use ORP and ozonizer, temperature is not controlled via a thermosat, but rather integrated on the chiller.

It can be quite hard to have a planted gold fish tank... Because goldfishes are kaypoh fishes who likes to pull out plants from the substrate... Also, they are ferocious plant eaters, who will eat off your leaves...

You can search in the forum for planted goldfish tanks... Was discussed in the past...

Just a note, if you feed them with dry food, please give them the sinking ones, or else they will be taking too much air while constantly eating. Gold fish cannot dispel gas, the trapped gas will cause problems for them, such as swim bladder failure. This system is apparent, they will turn upside down while swimming.

    Cheers.

No wonder my old goldfish always seemed to get swim bladder failure last time...
