If you need high speed cards, some folks swear by Lexar 80X. If you're not shooting in sports photography or in continuous drive all the time, and don't mind waiting for a few seconds each time your 350D has to clear its buffer when you shoot in RAW, normal speed cards are OK - e.g. those Kingston ones.
Lexar 80X cards are known to have compatibility problems with Canon cameras, including the Canon EOS 350D digital SLR. Also, Lexar's write acceleration technology is not support by Canon. Canon's write speed on any high speed card is already very fast.
Also, using the Lexar 80X card will not make your camera write much faster compared to other high speed cards. It's all in the camera buffer, which you can do anything about.
At preset, I will only use Sandisk CF/SD cards with all my cameras due to previous reliability issues that I had with Lexar.
