Thanks to benny for organising the very informative photography session today, I am been thinking how to setup my place for that shot for ADA 2006..

Should have asked this question today but didn't think of it this afternoon..

Based on what I have learnt, the room must be dark to avoid reflection and 2 external flashes are perhaps the min to take a reasonable shot for a 4ft tank.
So if the surrounding is supposed to be dark, then how to 'chase' the fish for the shot to be as close to those 'amano-rish' shot?

i dont think your room has to be like pitch dark.. as long as its darker than what the tank is going to be..and as long as the light from the tank doesn't hit you when you shoot.. you shouldn't get reflection

Fish wise.. there are many techniques you can use.. physically chasing them or using food etc.. there are many more that can be used..
