4mm is less than 0.5cm, which seems a little too tiny!?!?!

Yes, Parambassis sp., don't know which though. One of my favourite fishes.

I thought I have seen a different Parambassis sp at Ben's before, one that looks a bit different from this. Bah... memory is failing me... about time to pay Ben a visit.

According to the PF article, there are 3 common species being sold at LFS and the main diff is size.
    P. lala ~ 3cm, P. ranga ~ 6~7cm and P. siamensis is btw the two, fully grown about 5cm.

    My mistake.

It's less than 4cm, not mm, It is about roughly about 2.5cm I bought them (4) at the LFS at my place.

I have 6 bought from Ben. Have been asking him to bring in more but so far he has only brought in the more expensive species and not lala.
