Ok guys, my oranda (around 5 inches) has an ulcer about the size of the head of a pen cap just below his dorsal fin. I think I have it under control with salt treatments, but it isn't getting any better. He's been alright (eating a little, though not as much as usual [] , and generally not lethargic) for the most part, but I need to know what to do to treat it. Some sort of swab and/or medicated food? He's currently in a 15 gallon tank, but he has a 50 gallon waiting for him (which is uncycled...I'm hesitant to put him in there because of that fact, but I'm wondering if it would do him better to be in the bigger tank that is uncycled as opposed to the tank that is too small with worse water). What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any advice!
