    this is a Nymphaea sp. or also called four colour lotus..
    i got one from Ah Pek also.. was told that it was from Europe.

    I hear this one is quite ex right? I saw a guy buying from Ah Pek, a plantlet with just two leaves the size of pinkie nail, and cost $20! I even doubt if it will survive.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    Wah, shud have bought it man! Saw it at Ah Pek too! Anybody went 2 Ah Pek recently coz he's selling some very small plants, looks like blyxa japonica but very small n he has a lot of them. Anybody know what plant it is?

    I bought mine from Taiwan shop in Serangoon Nth for $15. Had about 6 - 7 leaves then but very small.

    It's xiao gu jing , not xiao hu jing. Another low temparature plant from Taiwan just like Elatine Triandra(APP).

    arrr sobbsobbb! got 4 of the siao gu jing for $20 and my yamato ate them for supper

    Sorry but I dont think it requires low temperature...
    I've grown App at 30 to 31 degrees... no problem...
    same for xiao gu jing... 28 degrees is good enuff...
