Hi, a friend of mine will be making a business trip to Singapore. So I thought it might be nice for him to go check out what stores there carry aquatic plants. Maybe he can take some pictures of them while there so we people here in the States can drool So, all the Singaporeans, please chime in. Thank you all

    Hi Paul,
Maybe he could check out Teo's farm and Qian Hu. Will fill in the address later.

Hi, tell us more about his schedules and so on. Does he intend to buy some? There are stores within easy reach, although he may have to travel a fair bit as the stores are not very big. If he is over on a weekend and adventurous he might consider visiting one of our favourite farms.

    Paul,

    This list might help

If time permits, we can take him around. Otherwise, he will never be able to find some of these places.

If you are interested, let us know. Don't worry, we are a friendly bunch and won't trade him for Cryptocoryne.

    Cheers,

Man, you guys are just too fast and too awesome 真的感謝!!!

Mm.....I am not sure if he can bring any back to US since all those rules about bringing live plants. Just too much trouble and risk. Wouldn't wanna see my friend's face on the newspaper, haha!

I will ask him later what his schedule is, but so far I know he will stay there for at least 3-5 days. In the mean time, thanks again for all the help. And yes, if possible, address would be helpful too.

Doesn't look like he has a lot of time. In that case, just visit Teo's plant farm at Lim Chu Kang. If time permits, go have a look at some of the fish farms too. Will definitely be an eye-opener. You need at least half a day, from 9 am to 1 pm.

Yes, you get flogged. Back to topic, that's why I propose we bring him to a farm. I think that would more serve his visit. Anyway, my 2 cents

yes, I think it would be good for another AQ outing. I would love to meet up old friends and new ones too. All the more easier if it is on a weekend. I propose our favorite farm and 1 or 2 LFS. That would let him in on how things works around here.

Guys, I have told my friend about you all. Here is his e-mail:

    [email protected]

His name is Albert Kyin. I would love to get all your e-mails, but then was thinking maybe it's better if you guys decide to contact him on your own. Because not everyone wants to post his/her e-mails on-line. My friend is ok, haha Just don't trade him for any Crypts because he is still single, hahaha! Maybe can introduce him to some Singapore girls. I think Stefani Sun is already taken, no?(haha, that was a joke cus we all know she is too famous a singer to date anyone).

Again, thank you all very much for the help. I look forward to seeing some fantastic pictures of both the plants there and my friend having fun(which I cannot due to work here in the States )
