Was down at C328 this afternoon, guess what auntie brought in....Baby stone fish!! The cutest thing they are bag individually at the tank where she puts her shrimps and plants, at the back of the shop. About 2cm, now that ain't no 'soon hock' so while it's cute I'll stay away. But if you're game, why not? Have fun....

Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii

how does a stone fish look like???
stone fish??? marine (salt water) tank?? ... aren't they v. carnivorous? ... remember seeing it in wisma's tank / changi tank... *blur*
Is there freshwater stonefish? I do know that there a quite alot of marine hobbist that keep predator fish like stonefish, frogfish and lionfish in species tank.

Yes JC, at least that's what they call them. It looks almost the same but less grosteque! Prefering to resemble more like our Soon Hock. Let me try to get the scientific name for you guys tonight.

looks cool, really feel like converting my 3ft planted to keep this fish. haha and i have so many ugly guppies to feed it.
Yes they are
they used to have bigger pieces but nowadays all they have are miniscule ones. Amazing fishes they are but not as beautiful as their saltwater cousins colour wise. Use fine sand and you'll see them burrow.
