I am planting hairgrass, any advise how deep to plunge the grass?

OK, I make a small bundle and plunge it in .5 inch or so, it doesn't float, it wouldn't rot in the substrate will it?

whether the HG rot or not, oso depends if the plant is in their emerse or submerge form

my hairgrass got fall-in and ke-kanan lurus already. I am thinking to light them up for a day hopefully the leaves will be full of air so when I give them haircut they will float.

I notice a lot of the grasses got a terminal tuft (flower?) so you think this is emersed form? []
