    Certainly looks like a species of Najas - though determining the exact species probably requires closer examination.

    saw lots of this sort of Najas @ Colourful recently... Are this plant hardy? Can anyone advise...

    Err...brought this plant few months back from xbox live... they are quite hardy but their stems and leaves break easily cause quite brittle... One more thing is that if there's high light, the leaves will turn purple. If not, the leaves stay green and tend to grow tall.... Thinking of selling it cause got quite a number excess after trimming but need to confirm the ID...
