    Hello,

I have 12 pygmy cories in my 1feet cube tank now. This is a low maintaience tank with just moss and E.tennellus.

Can someone suggest the best shrimp to go with these cories?

Will the cories go after my cherry shrimps and their shrimplets or they're friendly enough as tankmates?

Hope someone can share their experience .

Sorry, Wrong title, but I can't change it.... oops

any shrimp will work.. their mouths are too small to eat anything....well.. nothing substantial anyway.

But I will feel that the shrimps will be stressed by the cories poking them while they are on the substrate... Then you will see shrimps jumping around all the time... Back for pregnant shrimps... Might be frightened and suffer from "miscarriage""...

I don't have cories, but I have mollies who likes to peck the substrate, and always frighten my cherries... And they will jump around... Startled...

My pygmy corys just leave my shrimps alone!
So I think its should not be an issue!
    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for sharing, guys.

Valice, that sounds so logical. I was a little worried for the pregnant cherry shrimps too.

evolim, how big is your cory tank? Mine is just a 1feet cube and maybe these fella might fight for space in such a small area?
By the way, is 12 pygmy cory too many for a 1 feet cube?

The cories would be fine with any shrimp as mine just mind their own business...
