    How long do you guys quarantine your new acquisitions before letting them loose into your planted tank? Mine's already into it's first week and the fishes appear healthy and vibrant. Dying to see them loose in my planted tank.

    Usually a week is more than enough for quarantine. But some papers say 2 weeks is the norm. I suppose if they are not wild fishes from some exotic locale, a week is probably enough.
    Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.
