    hi,

i would like to hear some comments on Jaqno Flora Base. It's this brown granules in a small sachet.

i would like to hear user experiences and recommendations on the deployment and dosage of this base fert.

can it be sprinkled OVER the existing gravel? or must i sandwich it between my gravel layers before filling the tank with water? how often must i replenish the dosage etc... in a 4x1.5x1.5 ft tank?

any advice on alternative products is also greatly appreciated. btw i'm currently using Aqua Master Plant Food for my 2ft planted setup. it's working quite well and i was think whether i should use it in conjunction with the JAQNO Flora Base?

    thanks in advance

No experienced with this base fert, but as far as I know base fert should be laid during setting up phase. They are to be laid first and follwed by the gravel. You can't springle these granules or you'll end up with an algae rather than a planted tank.
    Cheers!!

i have a good impression of jaqno fertilisers
i bought the stick fert from jaqno
the sticks were hard and insoluble in water unlike horti tabs and bioplast balls
they were easy to stick into the gravel
and the crypts responded very well to the addition
