    Bros here,
Need some advise. My downoi have been in my tank for more than 2 months. They were intially growing healthy, propagate to many shoots. But about 2-3 weeks ago, i did a rescape of my tank, removed a fair bit of plants from my tank. Then realise that my downoi have started to melt since. Just wondering isit normal? The leave melts on some shoot but i could see new leaftlet shooting out from the centre core. I've inserted root monsters since.
But it seems that the growth are not as fast as it used to be. Isit because they are getting themselves recondition again?

From your description, I will say so. Mine faced the same scenario when it recondition itself. Juz make sure they are not shaded and keep your parameters constant to avoid "stressing" the plants again. If not, they may rot all away.

    Cheers!

thanks kadios. yup, have ensured that they have ample lighting. Not gonna disturb my tank anymore after my last mini rescape. Hope the downoi will grow back quickly
