I had the impression that there were shops at change alley that will trade in these. Check it out and see.
Cheers,
hi all,
i have quite a number of both Singapore and foreign countries old coins and notes, most of them are uncirculated and well kept. eg. 1978-1999 $10 coin, orchid series notes ......and some very old copper coins.
i have search the net and realised that there are actually buy/sell activities, therefore, would like to sell them.
As i m not a collector, i would like to seek help and advise from the forumers. Where can i sell them? Who are those reputable trader?
sorry to post such boring threat, but been searching for a few days and still cant find any relevant info. wonder if anyone can help?
a big thank you. cheers!

Try doing a search on some of the auction websites like eBay to see if your collection is worth anything. This will save you some time before you proceed to do anything else.

There is a shop at Funan Centre that also trades in stamps and currencies.
Typically, shops will buy low sell high. You are likely to get better value if you sell directly to collectors; but that involves significantly more time and effort.
tks all for your valuable info. will check it out.
