Can you give the volume of each tank ?
That way you can compare the light level in watt-per-gallon.
I have APP that does not seem to want to creep.
Tank A: 1ft cube, ADA amazonia with powersand substrate. 31W (combined) PL, APP 2 inches tall and growing upwards by the day
Tank B: 1.5ft x .5 ft, Lapis with all kinds of substrate supplement from laterite to Root monster to Ferka rosetta and Stemma.72 W (Combined) PL, APP 4 inch tall, then floats up from substrate
Tank C: 2ft x 1ft, Lapis with JBL basefert n Ferka stemma substrate, 4 x 24W T5 with parabolic reflectors, APP creeps for a month then turns skyward.
Help. How much light is considered sufficient for this plant to keep it creeping?

I try APP before in a 5 wpg 1ft tank and it has no problem to creep.
Is your tank very deep ?
BTW you do need to trim them frequently to keep them low and pack.
may be they were too crowded hence grow upward ?
Ah... keyword is trim. I don't do that. Guess I have to find another short creeper then. Thanks.
