why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I just updated my Pitcher plant of Borneo's webpage. I'm including one more species, N. hispida. I found & photographed this species in Sarawak-Brunei border last year.....but I wrongly identified it as N. gracilis. (at that time I didn't know much about pitcher plants). Attached the picture of N.hispida from Sarawak-Brunei border.

You must go Mt Kinabalu next.
I am reading this Pitcher plants of Sarawak, it says the pitcher of this species is seldom more than 6 cm in height. Yours look like the minority.Originally Posted by kuching
Confirmed from pitcher plant expert, it is N.hispida. It looks a bit like N.hirsuta, but smaller & the stems are covered with brown hairs. The location is near Brunei border (u know where lah).Originally Posted by MrTree
