    hi to all aq members.

like to ask whether is there a so called best time to dose the daily fertiliser if i'm following the EI method?

and what the correct method of increasing co2 ppm. is it to on a longer period or increase the amount within a fixed period? eg: my lighting period is from 12 to 10. so how long shld the co2 be on during the 8hrs of lighting period to attain the ppm i want?

    Welcome to AQ!

    No, there's no best time.

You should aim for 30ppm-35ppm of CO2. Increase the amount within your 8 hours. This will depend on how you dissolve your CO2 and amount of surface agitation that will remove CO2 from the water.
