leave the mom in there... the father is only useful in a community where a extra pair of teeth help guard the fry
My blue ram just spawned for the 2nd time. 1st all the eggs got eaten up.
This time, I removed the stone with the eggs. Need advice what to do with it. Should I keep the either or both the parents with the eggs? Or should I just keep the eggs by themselves?
Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Simon. BTW, what is the purpose of keeping the mom in there?
The mom seemed not to take care of the eggs after the spawn. Only the dad was guarding them. But when I feed the fishes, both deserted the eggs. Is this normal?
And how long does it take for the eggs to hatch?

the mother will aired the eggs, eat/remove dead (white) eggs... if its still unsuccessful, she can try again.. perharps she jus need more experience
How long do I have to wait for the eggs to hatch? Very excited.
Although I have succesful breeds of swordtails & lampeyes, but none compares to this one. The behaviour of the rams before, during & after spawning is most interesting.
